The Modular Headset I Anti-Rotate (MHS I AR) is a complete ROTWILD in-house development and actively limits the maximum possible steering angle to 65° per side. Contact between the suspension fork and down tube or handlebar and top tube is prevented by an invisible guide integrated into the bearing shells. Unlike other solutions on the market, no external stops on the frame are required to enable this function. Damage is avoided, shift and brake cables can be routed closer and cleaner to the frame.
The version shown here is the original installed version with +/- 0°.
The axial and radial forces occurring in the head tube area are absorbed by stainless and completely sealed 45° angular contact ball bearings.
The semi-integrated headset impresses with its very flat design on the top (top stack height 7.5 mm).
