What does it matter?

The interaction of the brand new Motor.Gearbox.Unit (MGU) from Pinion, a geometry that covers many application scenarios and optimal weight distribution makes the R.C1000 a competent cross over. This is what ROTWILD has in its name. The bike is at home almost everywhere your everyday life takes you: to work, to go shopping, but also for an after-work ride or an extended family tour at the weekend. But perhaps we are exaggerating too much. Because if we take it very seriously: The C.1000 can do more than just everyday paths. No matter where: The MGU combines the engine and gearbox and is positioned low on the bottom bracket and therefore centrally in the bike. Official name? E.1.12. It supports you constantly with energy from a battery that provides enormous power with an effective 960 watt hours. With 85 Newton meters of torque and a wide gear range of 12 gears, you can bring this power to the trail. Very smoothly, because the R.C1000 switches electronically. By combining drive and motor, the bike does not require a rear derailleur or cassette. Shifting most of the unsprung mass to the middle saves weight in the rear triangle. It creates the necessary freedom to flexibly take luggage with you using the standard carrier system. Without having to compromise on ride comfort or the mobility of the bike. Full carbon frame

The full carbon frame of the R.C1000 gives the bike a lot of stability and rigidity. The deep top tube and the low spring element positioning ensure an optimal feeling of safety, good freedom of movement and a low center of gravity. It is handmade and is made up of over 1,000 individual cuts. All wiring runs into the down tube and through the motor housing. For a tidy look and driving safety.

The chassis

The DT Swiss suspension elements offer you 140 mm of travel. Perfect for tackling many types of terrain: roads, forest roads, even rough trails. The balanced geometry ensures an integrated seating position. This gives you the necessary control over the bike with a high level of riding comfort.

MGU E1.12

MGU stands for Motor Gearbox Unit, an innovation from Pinion. E1 is the name of the engine. 12 indicates the number of gears. They are located in three series-connected gear sets with spur gear teeth. The MGU enables electronic switching, controlled by sensitive sensors. Pinion calls it SMART.SHIFT. When starting off on a hill and at a standstill, shift gears with almost no interruption in power flow. Select a gear or set your cadence. The MGU requires little maintenance because all moving parts in the magnesium housing are protected from external influences and impacts. The performance data: Torque up to 85 Nm, 600 W peak power, four speed levels.

FIT battery with 960 Wh

The battery comes from the product world of the Swiss manufacturer FIT. It effectively delivers 960 Wh. It integrates beautifully into the down tube. You can remove it and charge it from an external power source. You lock the energy cell securely in the down tube using an ABUS lock. The battery is integrated into the uniform and expandable system with various displays and the connection to the FIT app

Supernova lighting system

The Supernova M99 Mini Pro High Beam lamp installed in the cockpit ensures safety through visibility. Its counterpart is the Supernova TL3 Pro LED Tail Light, which is integrated into our unique carbon carrier system mounting system in the rear. You brake, the tail light shows your surroundings.

Luggage storage system

The R.C1000 is equipped with an innovative luggage storage system as standard. You can attach different types of bags to the bike using removable holders and take the things you need in your daily life with you. You can also prevent your clothing from getting dirty with mudguards. These integrate into the mounting system at the rear

Single speed chain

In our mountain bike tradition, we consciously rely on the sportiness of a wide and robust single chain. It transfers the power from the MGU to the rear wheel. All she needs for this cycle is a small chain tensioner at the back. This saves space under the motor housing and prevents damage. Since the chain line always remains the same, we can significantly reduce wear compared to conventional chains.
