The Shimano RT-MT900 brake disc was designed and further developed based on the successful Ice Tech FREEZA rotors. In the 140 mm and 160 mm versions, which are particularly aimed at cross-country riders, a weight reduction of 5 and 10 g respectively was achieved. The 180 mm and 203 mm versions especially for enduro riders are characterized by further improved heat dissipation and are of course also weight-optimized.
