Shimano Deore XT RD-M8130-SGS Shadow RD+ rear derailleur
The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8130-SGS rear derailleur achieves smooth and reliable shifting performance thanks to LinkGlide technology. Like its sister models, it continues to enable quick and precise gear changes across a wide gear range.
A safe and stable chain line prevents the chain from coming off on rough mountain trails. The guide and tension rollers with 13 teeth and sealed bearings as well as a rubber damper also ensure more stability, which also dampen noise and thus increase driving comfort.
The MTB-optimized rear derailleur with a flat profile is suitable for 1x11-speed drive systems and is tailored to the e-bike components of the Shimano STePS EP800 series.
LinkGlide
LinkGlide allows for smoother, quieter pedaling and shifts that are barely noticeable. The drive is exceptionally durable, withstands daily wear and tear and offers good shifting and pedaling properties for a long time, especially for multi-purpose bikes and high-torque e-bikes.
The optimized design of the LinkGlide shifting aids ensures a smoother transition between the sprockets to avoid jumps that can affect shifting and a smooth pedaling. The redesigned LinkGlide sprockets themselves feature a significantly stronger base and a unique chamfer that dramatically improves wear resistance in high torque applications.
