X Glide
X-Glide is the common denominator that gives the 2X10 chainrings unimagined shifting performance. Four identical positions for upshifting, which every external link is only too happy to accept. The result: perfect timing, switching up or down with almost no delay - even under load.
Exact Actuation
When we first introduced our racing bike technologies, we once again used our tried and tested SRAM MTB 1:1 gear ratio for 10-speed rear gears (shift cable spring travel: rear derailleur movement). EA helps create a simpler and more stable balance between rear derailleur suspension design, tight sprocket gaps and precise cable tension. The result: a switching system that is extremely easy to use.
